An enlightening read

'From Where I See' is a thriller that is more non-fiction than fiction. After a close friend commits suicide, a reason is sought. Although the structure could be improved (a bit chunky at times) author Ajay Yadav explores what makes humans unique and the rational behind many societal beliefs. Rationality is not an absolute concept: It rests on a fundamental premise, and people have different premises' from which they live their life by. Combining philosophy with religious interpretation and a dash of polemic, we are presented with a diverse range of topics. The discussions presented in the book are more philosophical, that is not to say that the book is inaccessible. It is highly accessible to any reader as the author is certainly a talented writer. I found this book to be an interesting departure point, to a more enlightening world-view.

The unfolding of life....

This is the age of LPG- when human has no other vision before them-it is now a world of prehistoric sabre tooth tigers-where survival of the fittest is the only motto.
In this world- the protagonist, the namesake of the author- had a reunion with his long lost childhood heartthrob. There was a brief period of their meeting in their college days when the meeting was ended in apathy from the girl.
Why there was the reluctance then? Why now there is warmth?
a quest from the author takes him to a journey –the journey that truly embed the human history- from the perspective of the writer-the culture ,history ,human psychology –all has been narrated. Sometimes it is the angle of view of the writer- sometimes it is widely accepted point of view-but it is innovative indeed to venture into the world of religion, civics, relentless conflicts in the name of bravery, courage and religion.
And the world of his childhood heartthrob gradually gets opened up with the exposure of her surroundings- a surroundings marred by grief, pain and despair- a surrounding that is truly a consequence of human endeavour towards progress.
Or a pseudo stride towards progress- you may say!
And the unexpected gets happened-she was murdered…………

Wow, amazing storytelling!!!

Wow , amazing storytelling, not only a murder mystery but great overview of world history , religion and other interesting interpersonal matters pertinent to daily life.
Author seems to be well read and presented history in totally different way , learned a lot about hidden facts and stories about religion and great leaders esp Mahatma Gandhi.
